Latest News (25th Jan 2009)

Tata Jagriti Yatra is done and dusted! What an amazing experience it was. We traveled the length and breadth of India, visited thirteen cities and spent eighteen days united on a train meeting and learning about the unsung heroes of India and how they created and scaled up enterprise lead development. We visited social businesses, charities and commercial enterprises. We heard about the role of CSR, the importance of empowering your staff, experiencing rural life by living amongst those who you are trying to help in order to understand their true challenges, bringing about change through the power of the individual and collaborating with colleagues by harnessing the power of the network to bring about lasting change.

The yatra was captured in a number of blogs during the journey, both on our official yatra daily blog and the 2008 yatri blogs. During the whole yatra we also broadcasted real-time updates on Twitter. You can also immerse yourself in the photos captured during the yatra. Lastly, a personal project by one of the yatra organisers to create a community portal featuring all the latest social networking functions is being worked on and should be ready soon. This new portal will enable all yatri's to keep in touch with each other, share multi media captured during the yatra and keep the flame alive. You should keep an eye on the official web site for news.
